Sylpheed is a simple, lightweight but featureful, and easy-to-use e-mail customer distributed beneath the GNU GPL (the text repository part acts as GNU LGPL). You can unrestricted use, modify and redistribute it in the grip of specific license. Sylpheed provides intuitive user-interface. Sylpheed is also developed for keyboard-oriented intervention, so Sylpheed can be widely used from beginners to power users.

Changes since Sylpheed 3.7​:

• OAuth2 authentication support underwent added. (currently tested with Gmail and MS365 Outlook). Comment: That client Tokens described in their oauth2.ini file included in the package feature been created because of diagnosing purpose. A warning that these client IDs are not confirmed by Google or Tech firm shall be displayed on the authentication. There are matters when the previous client IDs become not available in the future.
• Win32: fixes because of update checks near Windows were made.
• Win32: included SSL certificates were updated.
• Win32: included OpenSSL was updated.
