    Description

I include existed playing with pxe turning on for a but, first starting with pxelinux, so gpxe also lately with ipxe.

I am mostly a windows user and as an IT often needs a quick (=no install) moreover portable (=run from USB) dhcp server including a transfer protocol server and a online address infrastructure offering me from there pxe booting.I could use tftp32 or serva but i like to make coming from me own apparatus and these 2 were missing a group of features here furthermore there.

So in this environment comes a small portable dhcp operator including a tftp and a online server.

This is freeware (and decides to always be), should be opensource and the unique here idea is to share and contribute.

    • dhcp daemon supports an alternative file identifier based on the user-class in that case enabling chainloading (gpxe->pxelinux, ipxe->script, etc), and also support settings dhcp options (which can then feel used by somebody's boot loader)
    • tftp daemon supports tsize likewise blksize commands.
    • http daemon encouragement head, range (mandatory for ipxe sanboot options) and around 2gb iso.
    • new between version 1.0.0.7 : BINL (RIS also WDS) support
    • new in version 1.0.0.10 : DNS daemon
    • new in version 1.0.0.14 : ProxyDHCP option

The root refuge from tftp and http operates as the folder where you vital pxe loader sits.I put all the user's iso files in a underlying folder classified as images.I put totality my wim files in a subservient folder called sources.I put all my other loaders, in case I want to chain load, in next to my main loader (bootmgr, pxelinux, gpxe, grldr, etc)

In all attached screenshot, i load ipxe then chainloads a script (menu.ipxe).In the script 3 different methods : its classic memdisk, a newer direction with sanboot and a new kid on a block wimboot.
